Partnership Opportunities
Membership as a Corporate Partner means that you will join those who have made a substantial gift to support the work of the American Red Cross of Northwest Florida. The Red Cross in this community is your source for safety before, during and after life's critical situations. By connecting with your local American Red Cross through a financial contribution, you become part of this lifesaving work. Your commitment enables the Red Cross; right here at home, to reach out in a personal way, providing for our neighbors, and families before, during and after the times of greatest need. Invest in Disaster Response The American Red Cross provides 24-hour response to disasters by providing shelter, food, first aid and counseling, as well as direct financial assistance at no cost to those in need. Contributions help us to provide direct financial assistance to victims of disaster, meet salary and infrastructure costs for caseworkers, and offset disaster response expenses including clean-up and comfort kits, vehicles and communication systems, and training and management of disaster volunteers. Invest in Community Disaster Education The American Red Cross teaches families, organizations and corporations how to prepare for and respond to a disaster. Preparedness activities include direct age-appropriate educational presentations in schools, workplaces and community venues and informational literature available to the community. Funding supports salary expenses, transportation costs for staff and volunteers, supplies and brochures, and other expenses. Invest in International Humanitarian Services The American Red Cross is a partner in a world-wide movement to deliver international humanitarian service to relive suffering, to protect life and health, and to ensure respect for human beings. We coordinate fundraising for international disasters, provide education on international humanitarian principles, and provide international tracing and messaging for loved ones separated by armed conflict. Contributions offset expenses such as staff and volunteer efforts, educational materials and the infrastructure that allows us to maintain our tracing and messaging network. Invest in Youth Services The American Red Cross provides safety education and services to youth and their schools, as well as opportunities for youth to pursue personal development and community service. Donations directed toward Youth Services help us to support staff leadership and to develop meaningful opportunities for youth to develop new skills. Invest in Armed Forces Emergency Services (AFES) American Red Cross military caseworkers provide round-the-clock emergency communications to all members of the Armed Services and their families. Red Cross workers serve on the front-line in armed conflicts, ensuring that emergency communications from home are delivered with care and immediacy. AFES costs include caseworkers' time spent working with hospitals, military units, and families, telecommunications expenses to keep caseworkers connected around the clock, and support of the greater AFES infrastructure needed to deliver messages. Invest in Health and Safety Outreach The American Red Cross has offered Health and Safety education for over 90 years, teaching people to respond to life-threatening emergencies, providing first aid/CPR/AED training, babysitter training, including basic child safety, child-care, safe play and first aid, and aquatics including water safety, learn-to-swim lessons and lifeguard and water safety instructor training. Many in our community cannot afford the course fees and we are committed to offering these courses to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay.
