Administrative Assistant for Chief Executive Officer
Pensacola and Crestview, FL
Are you detail oriented? This is the job for you.  We offer flexible hours to volunteer, as

well as a choice of work locations. You will be assisting in upkeep of volunteer files, data

entry and maintenance of spreadsheets, word processing, telephone calls and email

correspondence, helping to prepare for and gather info for presentations, and coordinating

the office volunteers and tasks. This is a great opportunity for a business major to intern

with the Red Cross.

 

Blood Program Volunteer Needed
Volunteers are needed to support blood drives in all four counties

 

Community Education Presenter
Volunteers are needed to assist in providing community education to Escambia and

Santa Rosa Counties. Educators will be given training free of charge and asked to

provide short classes to people who are at risk specific to disasters or staff information

booths at education events.

 

Disaster Action Team Member
This is an on-call position that places trained Red Cross volunteers at the scene of a

disaster within minutes of its occurrence. They provide immediate, identifiable emergency

services to disaster victims and emergency workers. These needs will include

food, clothing, shelter, first aid, emergency health services and provide other personal

humanitarian services that may be needed.

 

Disaster Preparedness Team Member
Be part of the team that helps build the Northwest Florida Chapter's capacity to respond

to disaster. As a Preparedness Team Member, you will assist with disaster response

planning and exercises, keep supplies and inventory stocked, and organizational

agreements up to date. Being prepared is essential to lessen the impact disasters

have on our families, our neighborhoods, and our community.

 

Disaster Shelter Workers Needed for 2010 Hurricane Season
Hurricane season approaches and two hundred shelter volunteers are needed for

Okaloosa and Walton Counties. All training is provided at no cost.
